Fool & Scholar Productions is one of the top indie teams in the podcast industry. Consisting of creative duo Kaitlin Statz and Travis Vengroff, Fool & Scholar Productions’ shows have garnered millions of downloads, won numerous awards, and made significant contributions to charities through fundraisers and awareness campaigns.

Kaitlin Statz began writing audio drama scripts in 2015 during her time at graduate university. Within the year, her first stories hit headphones as Liberty: Critical Research and Liberty: Tales from the Tower. By 2017, with several audio seasons completed, she launched The White Vault under the Fool & Scholar Productions banner. She has written guest stories for other podcasts, and competed in audio drama script competitions, with her winning work performed live at the VAULT Festival in London and taking home awards from the Audio Verse Awards and the HEAR Now Festival.

Travis Vengroff is the producer and co-creator of Fool & Scholar Productions. His search for authentic sound has taken him to the forests of Central America, the black beaches of Iceland, and more recently to Budapest to record a 40 person choir. He is also the editor, sound designer, and director of all F&S productions.

The mascot and cheerleader of the team, Eezo lives with Kaitlin and Travis, offering them guidance, encouragement, and a reason to leave their home for a walk each day. Eezo regularly contributes Foley, footsteps, and barks for Fool & Scholar stories.
