Fool & Scholar Productions was founded as a hobby production duo by K. A. Statz and Travis Vengroff in 2015. By 2019, Fool & Scholar Productions was a registered company with multiple podcast productions, awards, and a substantial following. Starting in the realm of science fiction, they have gone on to create shows in the horror, drama, TTRPG, and family-oriented spaces.
K. A. Statz
Statz is the writer and co-creator for Fool & Scholar Productions. She began writing audio scripts in 2015 and within the year, her first stories hit headphones as Liberty: Critical Research and Liberty: Tales from the Tower. By 2017, with several audio seasons completed, she launched The White Vault under the Fool & Scholar Productions banner. Her award-winning stories are the driving force behind Fool & Scholar.

Travis Vengroff
Vengroff is the producer and co-creator of Fool & Scholar Productions. His search for authentic sound has taken him to the forests of Central America, the black beaches of Iceland, and more recently to Budapest to record a forty person choir. He is also the editor, sound designer, and director of all Fool & Scholar productions.
